The Board promotes Church of England based education and Christian personal development of young people and children in schools, parishes and universities in the Diocese of Rochester

We have a special responsibility for local authority maintained Church of England schools, university chaplaincy in Medway and improving the quality of children’s work and youth work in the parishes.

We work very closely with a wide range of partners in the Church and also in Government, and our work with them ranges from promoting schools costing tens of millions of pounds to helping a parish train a suitable volunteer children’s worker.

In everything we do, we aim to serve our Lord Jesus Christ by serving others, and to honour God by the high standards of our work. Our mission is to be the Church of England in education within our Diocese.
